Shahbaz is a brilliant kid on the block. He is creative, talented and most of all humorous. You might have seen his work in our first online exhibition.
Here, we are bringing you an exclusive interview with him.
“I love my work. Photography is my passion, love and life”
“No, definitely not, I was no where near such things. It all started in my 8th grade but it became passion in my college age.”
“You see interesting things or things happening every day, and it really blows you when you miss something you wanted to shoot. You know what I meant….”
“I don’t mind STARES, people often stop and wonder, but my concentration always stays on my object. It was very irritating in start but time teaches you all.”
“I hardly get time for studies these days [(:]. As a matter of fact we don’t study, we have work assignments and I enjoy doing them last minute…”
“Nothing is perfect, as we take the word “perfect”. Doors to improvement and let go must always be opened otherwise you find your self blocked in your own projected boundaries, and they definitely limit your point of view. Each image can only be judged on the conditions, it shoot under, otherwise being perfect is pointless”.
“I come from a struggling mediocre family and I know how to work with limited resources, less ideal conditions. I take it as a blessing as I find my self open to try new experiments with available lights, frames and objects. I believe when you are looking for a shoot, you need to focus on it and try achieving best visual result.”
“I like to live-free, no restrictions, no question asked. That doesn’t mean you become slave to your desires but you got to have the power to chose freely and act freely in ways that doesn’t harm others.”
“Unfortunately, I don’t get much chance to see work done by other photographers other then fashion magazines. There’s no platform [please don’t mind] to see or share photography experiences, discuss new techniques etc. It’s really sad, speaking me of as a student; we don’t know our senior photographers or their works.”
“No, I don’t cook; I rather starve to death then try making something. I know I can’t eat when I make [(:].”
